We research the departure on google at first and them went on Ticket.com to book and
check other option. We ended up booking a ticket at tiket.com am for 727 000 IDR
                                (68$CAD) and we took a
                                business class ticket.

                                Class available

                                Normal

It’s the free for all, you have a ticket but you may end up standing. It’s the less
expensive option and it would have cost us between 10-15$ for the same trip. Those
ticket are of course limited. Therefore, plan the trip in advance. You will be
seated in a bench style seat. So you may have some knee action with your neighbour…

                                Business

You have a ticket with assigned seat but from what we heard seating arrangement are
more or less respected.. The seat are more like a big bus style type of seat so no
                                knee action in that class.

                                Executive

You have more comfort but the seat look like a good big bus ride. there not a lot of
difference with the business seat expect the price and maybe the A.C. Those ticket
are sold slower, so if you book late it may be the cheapest option.

This ride does have a Luxury wagon. Not all rides have one.

                                Getting on board

First thing you need to do before getting on board is printing your ticket. You
don’t need to print them in advance. Once you arrive at the station you need to find
the check-in area. There are computers where you will enter your reservation number
or scan the QR code on your phone. Once you approved that the ticket they are
displaying are yours, it will printed them. Even if you have printed the reservation
email, you will need to do the check-in part… So don’t print save trees!

Once that’s done, you will pass the first checkpoint and then be directed (ishhh
directed, read the board or ask if you want to be sure on which platform your
train will arrive) Before boarding or sometime once you have boarded they
will check your ticket again. The agent on the platform will direct you to the
proper wagon according to your class. Class are also written on the side of the
wagon with numbers. all of those information are also on your ticket. So, if you
travel on Executive A , seat A 13; You will need to board the wagon Executive A and
your seat will be A 13.

                                Amenities on the train

There’s of course toilet’s on the train with toilet paper but it’s like a plane
toilet a bit more bumpy… There’s also a food wagon if you are hungry and sometime
there’s street vendor that hop on during stop to sell you stuff. (They are not
allowed in certain class) When we didn’t the trip we didn’t know there was a food
wagon so we just bought a few snack along the way. I don’t really recommend it you
                                will get hungry.
