Home sweet home

After a blissful 3h of sleep and it was already time to wake up. Our adventure started with a moving and it ended with a moving. I was starting my course 4 days after we landed and we still needed to move in our new apartment. (My parents were complete savior and had visited and rented in our name an apartment in Laval) I don’t know if you ever tried to move after an 24h international flight and 3h of sleep but you need coffee and an awful lot of motivation. We were really happy to be home and be able to see our family. They help us get our stuff in the news apartment that day. The worst part was still to come staying awake, we needed to beat jet lag fast. Alexis started working, we needed to unpack and my classed were starting. We unfortunately failed and went to sleep at 7h30…. Well we kind of doomed ourselfves since we ate a gigantic amount of poutine for diner. We had a small craving….

Poutine

Now in our new home with all of our stuff we could not wait for the next chapter. We left to find a purpose or at least a direction and to stop having the weird feel of being a passenger on a train going somewhere we didn’t know. Now we have a better idea but like anything in life we need to allow ourselves to change our idea and our goals. I think the trip helped us accept the fact that sometime it’s okay not to know where you are going and to take some time to figure it out. Who knows where we are going to end up next. Maybe Russia or France, who’s some good pâtisseries….
