For this trip we booked the tickets through 12goAsia. We also searched for tickets on
Google but the cheapest ones (yes again) were on 12go Asia. The trip from Bali (Bali -
Indonesia) to Puerto Princesa (Palawan - Philippines) Cost about 740$ CAD, so it’s about
370$ CAD for eac plane tickets. We had to take two flight. You cannot jump straight from
Bali to Palawan, you have to go to Manila (Philippines capital) first, then to Palawan.
(Palawan actually has 2 airports one in puerto princesa and one in El nido. But, landing
in El nido is reallllly expensive… We kept telling ourselves that we should have stopped
traveling in the middle of the night. We are always facing with two scenario. One is to
leave during the night and arrive at odd hours or the other one is to leave during the
day and pay for the incredibly expensive tickets. The day flights are not worth it, even
                                for our sleep.

                                Bali to Manila

The first flight left around 11h20 pm. The flight was 4 hours long and it was with
AirAsia. During that flight you don’t have dinner, snack or water. You need to bring
your own things or pay the planes price.

                                Manila to Puerto Princesa

This flight is 1h30. It’s a domestic flight so you have to change terminal in order to
take your flight. In order to change terminal, there’s a bus at the airport and
unfortunately for us the bus services only started at 5AM so we had to wait for a while
to take it. Anyway, once you get to the domestic flight terminal, it’s very crowded. But
on the positive side, there’s a Mr. Donut shop so we got to indulge in cheap donuts for
breakfast. On the flight there’s no meal or snack service either and if you want some,
you need to buy at the planes rate.
